The Nkomazi MTB Challenge is presented for the 4th consecutive year on Saturday, 26 August 2017. The event is sponsored by Malalane Toyota and hosted by Laerskool Malelane and the starting and finishing point will be at Laerskool Malelane, in the beautiful Lowveld town of Malalane.
Laerskool Malelane will host the Nkomazi MTB Challenge and is planning a whole family fun day with activities and attractions for all making this race a 'must do’ on the local calendar.

The route starts at Laerskool Malelane and continue to the farm roads on the northern side of the N4. After about 7km it passes underneath the N4 and meanders on farm roads. Some changes were made to last year's route, especially in the area around Malalane Stene. An exciting route in the mountains to the south of Malelane.
The route starts at Laerskool Malelane and continue to the farm roads on the northern side of the N4. After about 7km it passes underneath the N4 and meanders on farm roads, mostly on the farms of Radley Estate.
This track starts at Laerskool Malelane and continues to the farm roads and Jeep tracks on the northern side of the N4. After about 7 km it passes underneath the N4 and meanders on farm roads amonst papaya- and citrus orchards, through sugarcane fields, continuing through the cattle camps and along the game fence. It follows the canal and returns underneath the N4 to Malelane and the finish point at Laerskool Malelane.
This route starts at Laerskool Malelane, continues from the tar road onto the farm roads. The turning point is close to the entrance of Esselens Nursery from where the cyclists will take one little detour on a farm before returning to town to the finish point at Laerskool Malelane.
